I have gained so much at Willoughby Swim Club after around 6 years of growing and learning. Guiding and inspiring the younger and upcoming swimmers is a goal that I hope to achieve with the older swimmers as having such incredible guidance when I was young gave me the opportunity to set goals and involve myself in new opportunities. Building off of our already positive and encouraging atmosphere will ensure every swimmer is supported and pushed to not only strong for their best but to also have fun and gain enjoyable and rewarding experiences. If we can translate our exuberant and hardworking attitudes from Willoughby Swim Club to the competition pool, everyone will have a great chance to aspire and inspire others. There is so much talent within the club and I’m so grateful and excited to watch everyone thrive and so the best they can.

Willoughby Swim Club created a fantastic environment for me to grow as a swimmer and beyond. I place a lot of value on the relationships I have formed at the club with coaches and life-long friends. Willoughby is a great place to work hard and see steady and significant improvement in the sport. There’s no limit to the level of competition you can reach at the club, and the emphasis placed on attitude, consistency and dedication create a great foundation for success. I’m very glad to be part of this community, and I encourage others to get involved where they can and feed on the friendly atmosphere and culture of swimming excellence.
